Acceptance and Advocacy Grant Program

Walk with Autism is excited to announce the Acceptance and Advocacy Grant Program. For this academic year we have ten (10) grant opportunities available. We feel that strengthening our local community and empowering our teachers in the Special Education/Life Skills setting creates value in education, furthering our mission to bring acceptance and awareness of autism to all facets of life.

Autism is Au-some

Walk with Autism is a local non profit organization based in St. George, UT, established in April 2022. Our hope and our mission is to bring autism awareness and acceptance to our local community and surrounding areas. We can do that with your local help and support because your involvement is what matters most.

Walk with Autism will host events raises funds for head start programs and early intervention, funds that will assist families and caregivers by providing tools and resources to help those diagnosed with Autism. These funds will also be raised to benefit our local school districts’ special education programs. State monies for these programs are insufficient, and when budget cuts come around, special education is one of the first to feel these effects. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised by Walk with Autism will go to these entities.

To learn how you can help, please visit our Get Involved page, here on our website. We look forward to hearing from you, meeting you and working with you. Together, we can make a difference for our autistic community and the people who support them.
